As part of National Adoption Week, 5-11 November, we will be inviting people interested in becoming parents to find out how.
When you adopt a child, you build a family, and at Lambeth Council, we can help you make that step. If you are at least 21 years old and can provide a permanent, stable and caring home, your application to adopt will be welcomed. There is no upper age limit. Single people, married couples, civil partners and unmarried couples, whether they are heterosexual or same gender, can apply.
On 6 November 2012, Lambeth Council and South London Adoption Consortium is hosting an event to give people interested in becoming adopters an opportunity to speak to our staff and people who have successfully adopted. It takes place at Lambeth Town Hall, Brixton Hill, Brixton, SW2 1RW between 6.30pm and 8pm.
