Jobs and growth

Are you aged 16-24 and looking for an opportunity that allows you to work whilst training on the job?

Why not come along to our apprenticeship open day at Lambeth College?

  • When: Wednesday 12 September
  • Time: 1pm to 5pm
  • Where: Lambeth College Hub Space, Lambeth College, Clapham Campus, 45 Clapham Common South Side, SW4 3BL.

The council is working in partnership with Lambeth College to support this exciting event. The open day will showcase 38 real apprenticeship opportunities from a high street bank and a large construction company, as well as giving 16-24 year olds the chance to get general support and advice about apprenticeships and jobs. Sound interesting? Then make your way to the open day to find out more.

We are working hard to make sure that Lambeth residents have the best chance to access apprenticeship opportunities. To emphasise our commitment, we are also recruiting an Apprenticeship Coordinator who will increase the number apprenticeship opportunities in the borough by working with local people, businesses and apprenticeship training providers.

For more information about our open day or apprenticeships in general, email lambethworking@lambeth.gov.uk or apprenticeships@lambethcollege.ac.uk

This event is part of the council’s ‘More jobs’ campaign.

The aim of ‘More jobs’ is to support, signpost and work with residents who are looking for employment; work with businesses to create employment and apprenticeship opportunities; and encourage entrepreneurialism by offering support to those who want to set up on their own.
