Lambeth Council in partnership with GK Partners is putting on a series of business master classes tailored specifically for Lambeth based social entrepreneurs.
The free classes cover a wide range of topics and will run over the next few months – until December. They are designed to help social enterprises thrive and are run by experts in the field. Topics covered include understanding social enterprise, social enterprise finance, social enterprise marketing, and growth and development.
Councillor Sally Prentice, Lambeth Council cabinet member for regeneration, planning, employment and enterprise said: “Social enterprises play a vital role in the local community and this business model is growing in significance. Lambeth Council is particularly supportive of this business sector and these classes could help local firms get their businesses off the ground or may help those that have recently started, to thrive. I would urge local social enterprises to pick up the phone to find out more about what these courses have to offer”.
The free classes are run by GK Partners in association with Lambeth Council and will be held from October to December 2010. To find out about the dates and to reserve a place, contact: 020 77856340 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively email email@example.com.
