Lambeth Council has organised an event aimed at giving people more information about the assistive technology which can help them to live independently at home.
Health and social care professionals will be on hand to give expert advice alongside specialist equipment and technology suppliers. There will also be two presentations at approximately 11am and 2pm.
Lambeth residents, especially those interested in ways in which people can be supported to enjoy freedom and independence in their daily living, are invited to drop in to the event.
The event will take place on February 26 at the Lambeth Resource Centre, 1 Park Hall Road, Norwood, SE21 8EH and will run from 10am to 4pm.
“This event is part of our drive to boost the opportunities for independent living for our elderly or vulnerable residents,” said Councillor Lorna Campbell, Lambeth Council Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing.”
“We know that independent living is what our residents want, and we have placed this goal at the heart of our strategy,” she said.
