Do you know someone who works hard to improve our community or the lives of others? If so, why not nominate them for the prestigious Lambeth Civic Awards 2010?
Nominations are now open, and anyone living or working in the borough can put forward the person they believe deserves recognition for their achievements.
“Every day in Lambeth, people who care about their fellow residents and neighbourhoods make a positive and selfless contribution to the lives of others. These actions all too often go unrewarded,” said the Mayor of Lambeth, Councillor Christopher Wellbelove.
“The council’s civic award scheme, now in its eleventh year, gives the opportunity to honour people who help others in a special way,” he added.
Details and a nomination form can be downloaded from the Lambeth website.
Nominations close on 8 February, and the winners will be presented with their awards at a glittering ceremony later this year.
